Principal

Dr. Hartloff has worked in public education for 21 years. For the past four years, she served as assistant principal of curriculum and instruction at Foothill High School. Before working at Foothill, she served as a Teacher on Special Assignment and then coordinator of curriculum at the district office in TUSD. Before TUSD, Dr. Hartloff was a classroom teacher and instructional coach in Garden Grove Unified. She has served as a teacher and administrator at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Dr. Hartloff has a Bachelor’s degree in Dance/Theatre from Chapman University; a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from California State University, Fullerton; and a Doctorate in Education (K-12 Leadership) from California State University, Fullerton. When she's not at work, Dr. Hartloff enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, and reading. She has three daughters that attend elementary school in TUSD. As a family, they enjoy going to the beach, playing at the park, and hanging out with their two dogs, Yosemite and Betsy.
