Ashley Posavec, Counselor

Ms. Posavec joined Utt Middle School in the 2021-2022 school year. Before her role as school counselor at Utt, she worked as a substitute teacher and counseling intern in TUSD. Ms. Posavec also has experience working as a Registered Behavior Technician.
Ms. Posavec holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of San Diego. As well as a Master of Arts degree in School Counseling and a Pupil Personnel Services credential from Concordia University. Ms. Posavec is also trained in the following programs: AVID, Challenge Success, Capturing Kids Hearts, and Restorative Practices.
Ms. Posavec is honored to be a part of the Utt community and is looking forward to continuing to grow the counseling program alongside Mrs. Golly.
Claudia Sermeño-Golly, Counselor

Mrs. Claudia Sermeño-Golly joined Utt Middle School in the 2015-2016 school year. Before her role as community liaison here at Utt, she served students and parents as youth and family programs coordinator for a non-profit agency, elementary school teacher with LAUSD, and counselor at Santa Margarita Catholic High School.
Mrs. Sermeño-Golly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, a Master of Arts degree in Counseling both from Loyola Marymount University and a Pupil Personnel Services credential. Mrs. Sermeño-Golly is honored to have the opportunity to continue the exceptional counseling program here at Utt starting in the 2017-2018 school year.
Outside of the school day, Mrs. Sermeño-Golly volunteers with the Leukemia Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training program as a mentor and fundraiser.
